Meeting with Yamaraj

Q. If a person completes only 1% of devotional service in this birth then before taking his next birth to start his devotional service from 2%, does he have to meet Yamraj for punishment?

A. Yes, unless one has completed the process of devotional service, one cannot escape meeting Yamaraja. However, Lord Caitanya and His pure representative Shrila Prabhupada, out of Their causeless mercy for us conditioned souls have simplified the process of devotional service to such an extent that we simply have to chant the prescribed number of 16 rounds of the Hare Krishna mantra on our beads and follow the four regulative principles under the guidance of a bona fide spiritual master and we will return back home, back to Godhead in this very lifetime. Then, we need not worry the least about meeting Yamaraja .
